You better register now -- 2010 Ticket Opportunity | ColoradoRockies.com: Tickets

Registration begins December 4, 2009 at 3 p.m. MT and ends on January 11, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. MT for the opportunity to purchase tickets to Opening Day 2010 (April 9, 2010, 2 p.m. MT versus the San Diego Padres) and the three Boston games (June 22, 23 and 24). All four games will be available in the Ticket Opportunity.

Tickets for all remaining games will go on sale at www.coloradorockies.com starting on January 20, 2010 and will not be part of the Ticket Opportunity.

Fans will be randomly selected from the registration and sent directions on how to purchase tickets.

Notification will be by email with winners being notified by January 15, 2010.

Only fans that have completed the Ticket Opportunity form and have been selected to participate will have the ability to purchase tickets.

Notification of selection and receipt of email does not guarantee tickets for any of the games. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to availability.

Rex Grossman's dad tees off on Chicago Bears organization; feels bad for Jay Cutler -

Rex is no longer the Bears' quarterback.

Jay Cutler, a Pro Bowl performer last season in Denver, is the Bears' quarterback. But the results in Chicago, so far, are eerily similar.

Rex Grossman's father came out firing Monday when asked to assess the Bears' offensive woes with Cutler, compared with the checkered Chicago career of his son.

Dan Grossman, an ophthalmologist in Bloomington, Ind., cited the Bears' long history of futility at quarterback. He emphasized he did not want to come off sounding like your typical disgruntled parent but as an objective observer who bases his comments on Bears history and facts.

"Anybody who wants to dispute that ... all they can be labeled as is idiots," Grossman said.

Cutler has thrown 17 interceptions in the first nine games, including five Thursday night in San Francisco. Rex Grossman is now a backup for the Texans.
