Denver Art Studio Grand Opening - Tonight!! Please come if you can

Buy Art Not Underwear
Ice Cube Gallery Announces Grand Opening

Are Underwear sales up?  "Rising underwear sales an economic indicator of easing recession."   Economists say underwear sales go up as an economy comes out of a recession.  Close your eyes and picture your new piece of art instead of new underwear...

Ice Cube Gallery at the Dry Ice Factory, Denver COThe new co-operative venture, Ice Cube Gallery, started with the desire by a group of artists (residing at the Dry Ice Factory) to provide a collaborative community space in which to push out of personal comfort zones either in concept or material process.  Now a mix of Denver area artists and Dif residents, Ice Cube gallery opens its doors to the public with the group show, Buy Art Not Underwear.   The artists will exhibit current personal explorations representing a mix of top notch- fiber artists, fusion arts, a variety of painting including abstract to conceptual, metal, wood, and ceramic sculpture, papermaking, and found object creations with a collaborative effort taking off on the current economic indicator- underwear.

P.S. Still looking to jury in ten more open minded artists who are currently wearing art instead of new underwear.

Represented in the Ice Cube Gallery are:
Amber Fries
Carol Browning
Carol Ann Waugh
Deborah Jang
Jean Smith
Jennifer Jeannelle
Karen Roehl
